Full name Van Wyck Horton was born 8 September, 1833 in Fishkill, NY. He was an operator and photo printer for J Gurney and was listed in the city directories in 1858-1859. He later opened a studio at 15 and 17 N Pearl Street in Albany New York. Horton died 30 November, 1905 in Worcester, NY.
