Mr, W Frank Bacon, the Philadelphia photographer, who as an operator for Gurney & Son of New York City, posed Edwin Booth, Forrest and other celebrities of that day, died in Philadelphia, September 13th. He had for years past been recognized as one of the leading photographers of this country.
